Steve Francis was arrested for resisting arrest Thursday night at Los Angeles International Airport.The Los Angeles Times notes that Francis appeared intoxicated and "became boisterous at one of the ticket counters."
He was taken into custody at approximately 10:00 p.m. local time, and was later released after posting $10,000 bail early Friday morning, officials reported.
Francis is a former NBA All-Star who played nine seasons in the league, most notably for the Houston Rockets. He was drafted with the No. 2 overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft after spending his college career at Maryland. He has not played in the NBA since the 2007-08 season.
