Golfer Dies Days After Struck by Ball

A man died days after he was struck in the head by a golf ball at a Southern California golf course.

Hiroshi Tango, 69, of Brea, Calif., complained of head and neck pain after he was struck in the head at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino on Oct. 7, The (Riverside) Press-Enterprise reported. Tango was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he "succumbed to his injuries" on Saturday, according to the San Bernardino County coroner's office.

The coroner's office has not specified an exact cause of death.
