Reliance on Homer Could Trouble Giants Against Braves Pitching Staff

Derek LoweSAN FRANCISCO -- The Giants and Braves seem to be cut from the same cloth in a lot of ways. Both teams rely on their pitching to support unspectacular offenses.

One big difference, though, is the way they score.

The Giants, especially lately, have relied on home runs. That could be a problem, because the Braves have been the best in the National League at preventing homers. So one of the key storylines to watch in this series is if the Giants hitters can find a way to get those Braves' sinkers over the fence. And if they can't, then what?
