Linus Omark Brings Shootout Skills to NHL

Linus Omark has been dazzling hockey fans in Europe with his unique and jaw-dropping shootout goals for a couple of years now, doing everything from chipping the puck over goaltenders to dropping to his stomach and sliding across the ice in an effort to score.

The Oilers prospect made his NHL debut on Friday night during their 4-3 shootout win against the Tampa Bay Lightning, and it didn't take him long to show off his skills in the NHL, scoring the game-winning tally in the shootout. He did so by performing a spin-o-rama in the neutral zone after picking up the puck, faking a slap shot from between the circles, and then beat goaltender Dan Ellis through the five-hole.

In all honesty the shot itself wasn't that spectacular, but the flare of the spin and the stones to pull it off in your first NHL game? Awesome.
