LeBron James, Heat Unifying Nation in Unexpected Ways

CLEVELAND -- The Miami Heat have put on quite a show this season with LeBron James' talents in South Beach.

Said show is often comical, at times absurd, but never tragic. At least not to the huge majority of the country, where in a complete reversal of all that is American and Apple Pie, folks are enjoying someone's failings.

This is what the Miami Heat has wrought. More specifically, this is what James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh have wrought.

In joining together and trying to form a super-team, in ripping a city's heart out on national TV, in hosting a rally worthy of VJ Day in Miami Arena, in talking about having "arguably the best trio to ever play the game of basketball," in mentioning winning five ... six championships before they even played a game together, the Heat and the Heat's trio have become the team and group everyone loves to see lose.
