FanHouse national college football writer Brett McMurphy shares his weekly Associated Press Top 25 ballot along with his next 15 best teams for FanHouse's Fab 40.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - While Boise State coasted Friday night at Idaho, the remaining unbeatens each had a tougher time on Saturday. Oregon, Auburn and TCU each fell behind early, but they all managed to rally and survive.
Despite all of the off-the-field allegations and distractions, Auburn posted the most impressive victory of the unbeaten teams, defeating Georgia 49-31. The Tigers fell behind 21-7 before closing the game by outscoring the Bulldogs 42-10.
Because of Auburn's SEC West-clinching victory and its overall tougher schedule to this point, I jumped the Tigers two spots this week from No. 4 to No. 2 on my Associated Press ballot. The Tigers passed Boise State and TCU, which each fell one spot to No. 3 and No. 4.
The remaining teams in my Top 11 all stayed the same.
The teams that made the biggest moves on my AP ballot this week: South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, Northern Illinois and Michigan.
The teams that fell the furthest: Utah, Iowa, Mississippi State and Central Florida.
