Filed under: Auburn, All That and a Bag of Mail

Just know that the basic plot of the piece is that Auburn's athletic program has been caught up in a major FBI sting and that disaster is coming for the entire university. So popular did the thread become that it has now been placed in a PDF file along with a table of contents and visual accompaniment.
In reading the piece, it occurred to me that HBO is missing the boat by not setting up a television series in a South Alabama greyhound racing track that features a casino and a five-star hotel. Seriously, a five star hotel! Because every time people go to a dog track they think, "Man, if only I could spend $400 a night on a hotel room instead of driving back to my double wide."
This is the last season of Big Love. Can you think of a more entertaining setting for a show than an Alabama dog racing track? I can't. Also, anyone else love the fact that race track owner Milton McGregor had his attorney more vigorously contest the allegation that he paid Auburn players than that he paid Alabama legislators.
I absolutely loved this.
On to the All That and a Bag of Mail.
