ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Maria Espinoza, who was at the wheel in an accident that killed her friend and severely injured U.S. national team forward Charlie Davies last year, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated in federal court on Tuesday.U.S. District Court Judge Claude M. Hilton released Espinoza, who faces up to 13 years in prison on the two felony counts, on her own recognizance. Espinoza is scheduled to return to court Feb. 18 for sentencing. The family of Ashley Roberta, the 22-year-old Maryland resident killed in the Oct. 2009 crash, and possibly Davies, will give victim impact statements.
