BCS Rankings: Oregon Still Leads Followed by Auburn, TCU, Boise State

In three weeks, we will know. When the BCS rankings are released on Dec. 5, the mystery surrounding which teams will compete in college football's national championship game will be over. The teams that are ranked first and second that day will square off in Glendale, Ariz., on Jan. 10, 2011.

So Oregon and Auburn have to hold onto their spots through 21 more days and several more games. The Ducks and Tigers are listed at No. 1 and No. 2 in the latest BCS rankings released Sunday. Behind the front-runners are fellow unbeatens TCU and Boise State and then one-loss LSU.

That's the same order the top five were in last week, though Boise has closed the gap some on TCU. The next five didn't change either: Stanford, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State and Oklahoma State.

Three of the four undefeated teams are off this coming weekend. Only Boise State plays. It has a home game Friday against Fresno State.
