So Oregon and Auburn have to hold onto their spots through 21 more days and several more games. The Ducks and Tigers are listed at No. 1 and No. 2 in the latest BCS rankings released Sunday. Behind the front-runners are fellow unbeatens TCU and Boise State and then one-loss LSU.
That's the same order the top five were in last week, though Boise has closed the gap some on TCU. The next five didn't change either: Stanford, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State and Oklahoma State.
Three of the four undefeated teams are off this coming weekend. Only Boise State plays. It has a home game Friday against Fresno State.
