Three days after spinning the already-wacky world of college football recruiting off its axis by committing on national television/not signing/decommitting -- Cyrus Kouandjio finally stopped the madness Saturday afternoon.The massive DeMatha Catholic High School offensive tackle actually put pen to paper and signed his national letter-of-intent with Alabama, ending a wild ride that had him announcing he would sign with arch-rival Auburn on ESPNU on Wednesday and then waffling within the span of minutes.
"He said he wanted to respect his friends -- and fans," Jean Claude Kouandjio, the player's father, told Tidesports.com. "He wanted to respect the advice of his friends, people who admire him. That's what he wanted to do.
