Ryan O'Reilly Taken Off On Stretcher After Fall Into Boards (Video)

During the Penguins-Canadiens game on Wednesday night, Montreal forward Travis Moen attempted to check Mike Rupp only to completely miss and do a faceplant into the boards. Even though it was a scary incident and he was clearly shaken, he was able to get back up and return to the game. That, of course, was good news.

Unfortunately, Colorado's Ryan O'Reilly wasn't quite as lucky on Friday after he had to be taken off the ice on a stretcher after falling head first into the boards during the first period of his team's 4-1 win in Minnesota. The fall happened while he was involved in a race for a loose puck.
