Vince Young on Wednesday didn't deny missing team meetings the week leading to a Week 2 fourth-quarter benching. Then again, he didn't address it much either.
Young, the Tennessee Titans' starting quarterback, on Wednesday for the first time addressed a report in Monday's Tennessean that he missed or was late to two meetings leading to a 19-11 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.
Young, benched in the fourth quarter of that game, on Wednesday met with the media for the first time since the report, and according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean "deferred questions on the subject to Coach Jeff Fisher and expressed frustration with the way the media covers him."
"Every time it is always something about Vince," Young said. "It's Vince, Vince, Vince, Vince, Vince. But it's all good. I don't feed into it. I don't even read the stuff. Half the time I don't know what is going on.''
