There's another reason for Kurt Warner to feel happy that he's dancing with stars instead of playing with the Cardinals this season. Wide receiver Steve Breaston, who leads the Cardinals with 14 catches and 183 yards thus far, had knee surgery on Tuesday and is expected to miss the next couple of games.Mike Jurecki of XTRA Sports 910 radio first reported the news.
That will make Derek Anderson's job even more difficult, because the team is awfully thin at wideout right now. Early Doucet is recovering from groin surgery and isn't expected back until the end of October, while Larry Fitzgerald has been bothered by aches in his knee and wrist. He's also going to be bothered by coverages keying entirely on him, because the only other receivers to catch balls for the Cardinals are undrafted rookies Max Komar and Stephen Williams.
