U.S. national team defender
Oguchi Onyewu, perhaps frustrated by the fact that he's yet to see a minute of action for AC Milan this season, reportedly took issue with a tackle by Zlatan Ibrahimovi? during practice on Friday and started a fight that required intervention from a host of teammates.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani told SkySport24 TV that the brawl was "very lively. It can happen when there is a rather rough tackle." He also said Onyewu and Ibrahimovi?, the Swedish international who was acquired from Barcelona in August, had resolved their differences.
"The incident is closed," Galliani said.
Ibrahimovi? stands 6-5 and holds a black belt in taekwondo. Onyewu is 6-4, 210 pounds.
